Baroque music performed by Collegium Marianum for the first time in Mariánské Lázně

Mariánské Lázně will experience an extraordinary cultural evening - on Saturday 7 June 2025 at 19:30, in the romantic surroundings of the Forest Mill, a concert Le Festin Royal - Garden Royal Festival, dedicated to French Baroque music, will take place. The programme will present works by François Couperin, Jean-Féry Rebel, François Francœur and Louis-Gabriel Guillemain, performed by the renowned Prague ensemble Collegium Marianum.

The concert will offer the audience a unique opportunity to experience the refined beauty of court music in conjunction with the atmosphere of the Lesní Mlýn Hotel in Mariánské Lázně. Tickets priced at 390 CZK will be available at the door before the concert.

Collegium Marianum is one of the leading Czech ensembles specialising in music of the 17th and 18th centuries. Since its founding in 1997, under the direction of flutist Jana Semerádová, it has focused on historically informed interpretation, often enriched by Baroque dance and theatre. The ensemble collaborates with leading European soloists, conductors and directors and regularly presents modern premieres of forgotten works of musical history.
